Seeing as there’s no way I can attend all the events I write about (I’d be broke, exhausted, our dog would disown me and my house and garden would be a mess!!), I thought it might be a good idea to link to some posts other Perth bloggers have done about things they did! Will try and make this a regular thing! And I still need to catch up on some things we did recently too!
First up is Mooiness, who went to Godskitchen at Metro City last Friday. He regularly blogs about the club events he goes to.
TFP (The Food Pornographer) went to the Perth Royal Show last Saturday, and has a great series of posts with photos, including a general overview, the animals and the food. Obviously food is the main focus of her blog, whether it’s a home cooked meal, a Hungry Jacks breakfast, or dinner at the Witches Cauldron in Subi.
Kilee, who blogs at Minti, visited the Royal Show on Monday with her husband and 2 yo daughter.
Nick went to see The Mikado at the Regal Theatre last week.
Graeme Watson attended the opening of an exhibition at the John Curtin Gallery. There are three exhibitions on until 8 December: ‘Chart’, ‘Western Edge’ and ‘David Sequeira: Eternal Rhythms selected works 1996 - 2006′. The first two are the ones Graeme talks about, and both are part of ‘Australia on the Map 1606-2006‘.
Deanne from Temporal Island posts about visiting the Kamberang Festival at City Farm today.
Let me know if I’ve missed something good, and if you want to be included in future link posts you may need to let me know about your post! I was trying to keep up with all the Perth blogs I could find, but I’ve given up, there’s too many out there! About 100 is enough in my feed reader!

Heh nice to see my name up there. Ego boost! But you are right, you can’t possibly keep up with everything that’s happening in Perth. And this aggregating thing is definitely a good idea for your sanity. :)
Hi Simone,
Thanks for the roundup and the link! I enjoyed reading about everyone’s weekends, from the show to clubs to art. BTW, I like you’re new header - I’ve been reading in my feedreader-y doo-dad for a while and hadn’t visited the site to check it out. Have a good one! Dee
Hi guys, no worries!
Now, you might need to remind me to do these posts… I sometimes even nearly forget to do my ‘what’s on this week’ ones, even when I’ve been doing them for months now!(can’t believe it’s been months, time flys when you’re having fun!
The new header is all thanks to my dear husband Pascal :D
He’ll probably already be sick of it again soon though, and change it again, ha ha!
