Classic hard rock bands and musicians unite to raise money for the Bon Scott statue, on Sunday 25 February 2007, at Claremont Showgrounds.
Playing their own hits plus Bon era AC/DC classics, will be The Angels, Rose Tattoo and The Party Boys, featuring some of Australia’s most highly regarded rock musicians plus former members of AC/DC and Status Quo and some extra special guests!!. Joining them are The Screaming Jets, Dave Warner’s from the Suburbs, The Kill Devil Hills, The Flairz and more.
As said, the concert will raise money for a statue in Fremantle, and everyone attending will have their name recorded at the Bon Scott Concert website.
Tickets are available online now at Heatseeker. There are different tickets for adults ($55 + bf) and children ($15 + bf), and there’s also a special family offer, where kids under 15 get in free, if they’re with two paying parents.
The concert is happening from 3pm to 10pm, it’s a Sunday.

I will definitely be going. Bon Scott’s voice still gives me chils whenever I hear it. His AC/DC are the only rock band ever to cut through the dross and get your spinal chord firing electricity through your body!!! When I was a kid I remember seeing him on Countdown dressed in a girls school uniform with blond plats. He looked sexy - gap teeth and all!!! I just moved to Perth late Dec. and have been to Freemantle Prison. It is all kind of forming an impression for me of hard crims with slop buckets and mullets, and 70’s rock with Bon Scott - freemantle’s son.
