  5. 5 Simone

Over 18’s will need photo id to get into the licensed areas.

I don’t know if you need id to get in if you’re 6 to 17 years old….

Try posting on the official forum, or contacting Ticketmaster (link above)
    http://www.soundwavefestival.com/forum/

  6. 6 sam

  7. 7 andrew

    hay,
simone you said that you could get tickets for 77 dollars through the soundwave website before feb 5th
but i went on the website and it says theyre 95 when i tried to purchase one
so is the flat rate now 95 dollars?
    thanks

  10. 10 Simone

    Sorry, no… I said (on 2 January):

Tickets are $77 until Friday morning http://www.soundwavefestival.com/
and $95 from Friday the 5th (of January) through ticketmaster:
    http://www.ticketmaster.com.au/event/13003D94C90CB5FD

So yes, it’s now $95, from the website and Ticketmaster.
sorry, it’s quite a big difference in price, hey?! :(

  11. 11 Christina

hey i was wondering what time the soundwave festival starts and when it finishes and if the tickets are selling out fast..if u can let me know that’ll be great
    thanks

  12. 12 kristin

hey um do we need photo id to get in cause i dont have any and i really wanna go

  13. 13 emily

    yer

  14. 14 Simone

Christina, the FAQ thread on the forum:
    http://www.soundwavefestival.com/forum/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=116
It says: As far as i know, all the cities will start at 12 noon, Perth will finish at around 10:30PM

Timetable for when bands are playing should be up any day now. I have no idea if it’s selling out fast, but a lot of festivals are selling out recently, so watch out!

Kristin/Emily: I’ve posted a message on the forum asking about the photo id thing, so I’ll let you know when I hear :)

  15. 15 Ed

Hey guys, to clear all your questions.
    1. Photo Ids are for Alcohol areas. so if you got a id like smart rider without photo, you can get in because its ALL ages.
    2. Tickets are no $95 because its after 2nd Febuary
    3. If you are in perth, you can get tickets at 78 Records in city (914 Hay Street)
    4. There are still plenty of tickets on sale.
    5. Behind Crimson Eyes is instore at 78Records on Sunday. 11 Febuary.

    Okay thats all, bye.

  16. 16 Ed

Oh and the time table, like Simone said, no body knows but the estimating is 12pm-10:30pm

  17. 17 Simone

    Timetable is up:
    http://www.soundwavefestival.com/

first band at midday, last (Deftones) play till 10.30pm

  18. 18 ...

can you buy tickets from soundwave?

    at the actual venue

  19. 19 Simone

I’m not sure, can’t see that written anywhere.

    Ed, do you know?

  20. 20 Ed

    Iam not too ’sure’
but i dont think you can, like Simone said, can’t see that written anywhere.
If you’re from Perth, i best suggest goto 78 Records on 914 Hay Street in Northbridge (City).

Because first when they came out, they only mentioned buying it online.
Then i found out you can buy at some music stores.

    Sorry mate.

  21. 21 Sam

hey wat happens if you bought tickets but lost them:( is there still anyway that you can go?

  22. 22 Simone

If you got them through Ticketmaster, see this page, contact them asap:
    http://www.ticketmaster.com.au/h/lost_tix.html

Otherwise you’ll need to contact Soundwave/Chugg Entertainment.

    Good luck
    :)
