Marilyn Manson is touring Australia and will perform in Perth at Challenge Stadium on Saturday 13 October 2007, with ’special guests’.
Following the release of their latest, top 10 debuting album, Eat Me, Drink Me, Marilyn Manson promise the masterful blend of dark, energetic, angst-ridden performances for which they’re universally renowned, pointing the way to their deparaved new world disorder. Originally forming in 1989, during the 1990’s Marilyn Manson with their unique take on Metal, became one of the most controversial names in music. Offending parents, politicians, and religious groups around the world without fear or favour, Marilyn Manson’s cult following and commercial success soared with the release 1995’s Smells Like Children featuring a cover of the Eurythmics’ Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).
Tickets on sale from 13 July from Ticketmaster. General admission (standing) and reserved seating tickets are all $80.
Doors open at 7pm.

I really want to go. I’ve been saving up for the day Marilyn Manson comes to Brisbane. I’m 13 and I REALLY hope under 18s can go. My mother is anoying, and over protective and wouldn’t let me go by myself. Which sucks ’cause none of my friends or family would go. It’s so typical that the tickets are on sale Friday 13th.

There better not be too many little kids…

Challenge stadiums not a bad venue.
It’s a bit on the small side, but that’s okay because you can get up closer to the band.
Oh and I don’t recommend getting really smashed before the gig, or trying to jump the barriers if you couldn’t get tickets for the mosh pits, because the security guards they get there are pretty rough.
You’ll get literally dragged out by your hair.
I just hope there aren’t too many little kids in the mosh pit.
They wont be able to see in there anyways.
I don’t think the crowd will be that rough though…

Whats the difference between the reserved seating tickets and the general admission ones?
That always confused me too, but I finally know!
General admission is standing, so i the middle of the stadium.
Reserved seating is sitting down, seats, around the outside (though sometimes concerts will also have seating in the middle, but I don’t think this one has.)

So the seats marked is all the reserved seating spots. General admission is in the middle. Up the front would be quite moshpit, but you can also stand towards the back of the middle bit, and it should be fine.
Often people will stand up in the seated areas too.
